Short version: Northtape does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or analytics cookies. Our analytics are cookieless. The only browser storage we use is strictly necessary to sign you in and remember your in-app state — which is why you don't see a cookie consent banner.

1. Strictly necessary storage
The app stores the following in your browser (localStorage or equivalent). These exist solely so the app works; they are not shared with third parties and are exempt from consent requirements as strictly necessary:
- Authentication session — keeps you signed in between visits. Cleared on sign-out.
- Alerts "last seen" timestamp — powers the unread badge on the alerts bell.
- Referral state — a first-party flag recording that you clicked the Tangem referral link, kept for up to 7 days so we can count a return visit once. It contains no identity data and never leaves your browser.
2. Cookieless analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first service that uses no cookies and stores no persistent identifiers. It gives us aggregate counts (page views, referrers, country-level traffic) and cannot identify you or follow you across sites. Because it sets nothing on your device, it does not require consent under UK PECR or the EU ePrivacy Directive.
3. Third-party sites
When you follow a link to a news publisher or to Tangem, those sites may set their own cookies under their own policies. We have no control over them.
4. Managing storage
Clear your browser's site data for app.marcomfin.tech at any time — you will be signed out and the app will forget your local state. Push notification permissions are managed separately in your browser or device settings.
5. Changes and contact
